Finding MLK

Kind       Hero

Martin Luther King was kind. He gave the “I have a dream” speech. During his speeches he was always calm and NEVER treated others disrespectfully.

Martin Luther King was a hero. He’s the reason why we can have white and colored  friends. He is the reason why white and colored people can go to school together. He is also the reason why white and colored people can ride the bus together and drink out of the same water fountain.

Did you know that after a trip to Germany in 1931, Michael King Sr. changed his own name in homage to historic German theologian Martin Luther. Michael King Jr. was two years old at the time King Sr. made the decision to change his son’s name to Martin Luther as well.

2017

My New Year’s Resolutions are based on twirling, dancing, home, school, and anywhere in public. I have already started 2017 pretty good, I haven’t been late to school, I have been waking up at 6:30 A.M and doing the same routine every morning! I also have been trying to go to bed early on Sunday nights so I wont be tired when I wake up Monday morning. I LOVE my new twirling routine this year!!! I’m going to practice very hard. Sadly, I can’t tell you what it is until competition season is over which will be in March. My other goal is with my twirling team group. They are amazing and I love them so much! All of us have goals and that is to WIN or do our best. My dance goals are to learn more things in my advanced tap classes, hope we win at competition which means we have to work hard, and to get a 4 pack before 2018 comes because we do abs workouts. Those were some of my New Year’s Resolutions, there are so much more but those were some of the important ones! BYEEEEEEEEE

Rememberance Day

I was shocked by some things about Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I already knew that it happened in 1941, but I did not know that it happened at 8:00 in the morning!!! That is really early. I was shocked when I read that the Japanese were in war with us! This is what brought up World War ||. I will always remember the Pearl Harbor, Hawaii attack. pearl-harbor
