My Favorite Season

My favorite season is Winter. The reason why I like Winter is because Christmas is in winter. Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. My family and I have a traditional Christmas party every year on Christmas Eve, and we get really nice presents. Another reason why I like Winter is because we get out of school for 2 weeks in December! I like it when we get 2 weeks off because it gives us time to rest. Now, this is my favorite part of winter… CUTE CLOTHES! There are sales and boots, sweaters, leggings and more. This is the yummy part, Smores and fire! I love the taste of chocolate, melted marshmellows, and Graham Cracker In my mouth. Next is the fire, it’s so warm and cozy. These are the reasons why I love Winter.

The Kid Who Ran For President

This book is mainly about a kid who ran for President. It’s about Judson Moon and Lane Brainard (his manger). Judson Moon wants to run for President, he needs 20 million dollars and a First Lady. He picked a girl named Chelsea for the First Lady. Moon also gives a speech at his school and the crowd goes CRAZY!! Teachers were getting nervous. He started with a low percent but then got up to 24% really fast. He needed at least 270 votes. He had some pretty rough times, but that’s what happends during Debates. Then he had Election Day… To be Contiued. I really liked this book, because Judson has done something we will probably never see. He’s brave and his manager keeps him working.  He never gave up and if there was a problem, he always came up with a solution.

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week began after the kidnapping, torture, and brutal murder of Drug Enforcement Administartion. Red Ribbon Week is a wonderful way to keep the memory alive of “Kiki” Camarena who truly was a hero in the war against drugs. An estimated 80 million people participate in Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug prevention campaign in the Nation. Red Ribbon Week was instituted in 1988 with President and Mrs.Regan serving as honorary chairpersons for Red Rbbon Week.image

The Spooky MoonCrystal Taken by the Ghost

One spooky night in the dark woods there was a little boy named Tommy Anne Covington. He carried a backpack when we would visit the woods every Friday the 13th. Suddenly on Friday the 13th in October, he heard trees flowing and leaves blowing and then BOOM! a strike of lighting lit up the sky. Then POW! a ghost appears, but this isn’t a regular ghost. This was a ghost from Graveyard of Gobblins, the scariest Graveyard ever! Tommy ran but the ghost stopped him with his powers. Tommy was scared out of his mind. His teeth chatted. The ghost told him he needed to stay so Tommy did. The ghost lifted up his hands and said the words HU-BUKA SLIMEY HANDS! Then CRASH! Another lighting strike lit up the sky. This time something fell from the moon, it was a crystal. Tommy asked in a scared voice “what i-i-i-i-is this?” ” It’s a mooncrystal.” All Tommy wanted to do was go home splash water all over his face and hope it was a dream. “You only get 3 wishes, and if you use all of them by Halloween you turn into the mooncrystal, and trust me you do not want to be in there because there is a EVIL GENIE in there that will haunt you forever.” Tommy wished 3 times ” I wish this is a dream, I wish this is a dream, I wish this is a dream!” Then suddenly he heard is alarm go off for school and he was in his bed. “WAIT WHAT?!?!” Tommy said. “Are you kidding me? It was all just a dream?” “Ohhh I know where i got it from, my sister is going to be a Gobblin and I’m going to be a Ghost.” “This all makes sense now.” “Well it is Halloween morning so I’d better get my costume on and tell my friends about the mooncrystal. Glad it was all a dream. Happy Halloween!” But as Tommy left his room a red glow came from under his bed. HE HAD THE STOLEN MOONCRYSTAL FROM THE GHOST!

You should come to Jamestown because you can learn about how they make their own food and how they got rich. Colonists would look hard for gold but they couldn’t find any so they planted Tobacco instead. If you come here, you can learn how to grow Tobacco. To keep from starving during the winter of 1609-10 many are their own Horses and Dogs! If you come you learn how to hunt as well. Thanks for listening and I hope you come to Jamestown bye!
